Air Fryer Pork Ribs with Sweet and Sour Sauce

Ingredients:

  • Rack of pork ribs (cut to fit your air fryer)
  • Cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp cup plum sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can pineapple chunks (undrained)

Marination:

  • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Bi-carb soda
  • 2 tbsp Chinese wine
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp corn flour

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Ribs: Marinate the pork for 1 hour and place them on the rack inside your Buffalo Stainless Steel Air Fryer. Spray with cooking oil.
  2. Air Fry the Ribs: Select the "Fry" function on your air fryer, or set the temperature to 240°C for 15 minutes.
  3. Flip and Cook: After 15 minutes, open the lid and use tongs to flip the ribs. Spray them again with cooking oil. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes at 240°C.
  4. Make the Sauce: While the ribs finish cooking, in your Happycall ZIUM 24cm Casserole, combine the tomato sauce, plum sauce, Worcestershire sauce, rice wine vinegar, sugar, and water. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Simmer and Serve: Add the cooked ribs and pineapple chunks to the sauce in the casserole. Stir gently to coat the ribs in the sauce. Serve immediately.
