How to Cook Rice with BOILSTEAM or Advanced BOILSTEAM Function

  1. Rinse the rice for a few times before draining it  
  2. Transfer the rinsed rice into the Stainless Steel Steamer Basket 
  3. Insert the Steamer Basket into the inner pot 
  4. Fill the inner pot with water until it covers the rice 
  5. Select the ‘BOILSTEAM Rice’ or ‘Advance BOILSTEAM Rice’ function
  6. By default, the texture of rice is set to ‘Standard’. For a personalised taste, select the ‘Taste’ key to adjust the texture of rice: ‘Soft’, ‘Standard’, or ‘Hard’. 
  7. Press the ‘On/Off’ key to start cooking
  8. Once done, rice is automatically kept warm 

 

 

1. Pour washed rice into the inner pot, add a suitable amount of water
2. Press the "Menu" key to select "Normal Rice" (You can select "taste" too) and press the "On/Off" key to start cooking.
3. When the cooking process is done, the monitor will show "66" which means to keep warm.
4. Please turn off the power once the cooking time is completed.
5. Let the rice sit for 5 minutes for a better result.
6. For better texture brown rice, soak the rice for few hours or overnight.
7. It is always wise to allow a bit of extra water when you cook less than two cups.
8. Try not to keep warm for too long. It might cause the rice to be dry and losing the fluffy texture.
